I just made this post to show people the piece of art I did below, that I don't want to put in the art portal because it looks like shit.

Wow I just realized I'm no longer in the riff raff, looks like I no longer need to alert people that this isn't one of the thousands of stupid spammed posts that people put up

Too many people post crap on newgrounds...
I was just putting this here because I'm releasing an animation, not that a lot of people care, and because it would be awesome if more people checked out my art. Eventually I want to work together with a programmer, but right now my skills aren't what they need to be. I just want some exposure to the site, and if anyone wants to work with me after what you've seen feel free, just know that it will be a first for me. It's summer and I have tons of time to kill, post or response or send a PM if you want to; but I doubt I'll do much in the way of progress; it'll be more of a learning experience.

I left my computer a few hours ago while the art portal had 68 pages. I came back and it had only 54. Obviously they cracked down on the quality by unscouting about a fifth of the artists. Yet I was one of the people who was unscouted. If you're reading this and you are a scout check out my artwork, I don't see any reason why I should have been taken off the art portal, my two works scored a 4 and a 4.60 which isn't that bad. I'm glad that they are adding some stricter quality standards, but I think I deserve to get back on.

I'm ridiculously excited for the art portal! and I'm also excited because I just sent out an order for a wacom tablet on sunday. Can't wait to bombard it with submissions! But eventually i'll move on to the flash portal, because I've got a friend who wants to learn programming, and I want to learn flash sooo....

I doubt I'll keep anyone's attention with a post this long so I'll stop here. I just made a few jersey designs/logos for a sports team and just to get them some exposure I'll post them here. The theme is blackout and it had to have an eclipse or something like that in the design. Always wanting comments. Hoping to break 8.

Hey, I just got my submission to the ad-block banner competition up, here you go!
It's on the last page of the post so I might as well put it up here where it will get more traffic.

feel free to critique it, I'm no Graphic Designer, although I got a little bit of help from one on the font (RockyMike). This is the small one, the full size for the "competition" is 728 pixels wide.

Btw the animation I'm doing probably won't be submitted for a while to come.

Hey, I just reached level four (I'm a noob) and I'm working on my second flash animation, which is going to be much better than the first (that one let me learn about the blam feature). So I decided that I'd post some of my recent art on newgrounds seeing as not many people post images on their profiles. Its just coming up for comment, I guess I just want some traffic on my profile before I release the flash this week so enjoy!
btw its only 30 second logo animation, not anything significant

p.s. If my flash isn't blammed and you end up seeing it please offer some critique, I have a guide on flash, but It only covers basics and not some of the more advanced techniques. I know some people just tell attention grabbing noobs to fuck off, but I'm interested in becoming better, I don't want to just spam the site with crap (even though that will get blammed anyway). When I get a tablet I want to start some longer ones.

Well since I'm not coming out with any flash animations right now I thought I'd put up something I made about a year ago. I did it roughly on a tablet and It ended up being kind of dirty and really hyper contrasted, but it is what it is. Tell me what you think, nothings perfect. If I could go back I would totally rework the tree, its stubby and really awkward.
