this may seem trivial but I think you should make the scroll speed faster

I'm considering adding easing. The more to the edges the mouse, the faster the scroll. I'll see what I can do, I'm not that good with AS3 yet.

the hand drawn aspects were good but the animation was really choppy. Just a suggestion, if you're going to have still frames and a slow frame-rate go for detail, but if you're using a high frame-rate there's no need because the drawings change pretty quickly (obviously). Nice work!
